J. Allis & Co., LLC has a certifying acceptance agent agreement with the IRS to process applications for an ITIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number). The firm's acceptance agent reviews original documents and Form W-7 in accordance with the IRS agreement.

We do not offer this service to the general public. The firm only provides this service to client companies with large number of employees in remote locations. These are typically crewmembers holding an OCS endorsement to a B-1/B-2 visa aboard foreign construction, geophysical or drilling vessels in the Gulf of Mexico (GOM).

As part of our process, we can work with you to develop processes and procedures so that the most cost-effective methods are used to obtain necessary documentation to suport the ITIN application. For example, we train client personnel at no charge on the acceptable documents that may be notarized and application process.. We can also work with your shipping agent or office crewing personnel.
